SPM History

1993

The first SPM factory was established in Lampung, South of Sumatra

2000

German equipment was installed to increase the quantity of the native tapioca starch production

2006

SPM established the second production line to double their production capacities

2007

SPM started to established their first Biogas plant by converting their effluent waste to energy

2010

The second Biogas plant with CDM compliance equipment from Europe was established

2011

SPM was registered in the UNFCCC CDM Project

2016

SPM become the most efficient tapioca starch producer by applying Zero Waste System

The third tapioca starch factory, SBP (Sinar Baturusa Prima), is established in Bangka Island with the state of the art from Swedish equipment. SBP is the first tapioca starch factory with full automation system
